Our story

Republic of Lucha was born as an idea in October of 2020, and that idea soon became tangible a month later, and a full-blown reality in March of 2021.

The Greatest Tag Team in the universe, the Lucha Brothers Penta Zero M and Rey Fenix created Republic of Lucha, a 4,000 sq ft retail store, gallery, event space, outdoor cinema and museum dedicated 100% to LUCHA LIBRE. Official merch, mask gallery, art installations, events and the biggest names in Lucha Libre all under one roof in the heart of Los Angeles. 

Republic of Lucha's mission is to establish itself as the only space of its kind in the ENTIRE WORLD that offers a unique shopping and event experience for both the die-hard and loyal Lucha fans, and for ANYBODY that simply recognizes the cultural elements and diversity of Lucha Libre as something fascinating. As one of the most recognizable cultural elements that define Mexican culture around the world, Lucha Libre is much more than a "sport", it's an art form, a philosophy, a way of viewing life and as the world's #1 Lucha ambassadors, the Lucha Bros want to share their career and Lucha as a WHOLE with all of you. 

As our initial 3 year lease expired in December of 2023, the decision was made to transition into an ONLINE ONLY store starting in April of 2024. All of our highly acclaimed products are available for purchase and shipping worldwide. We hope to one again in the not so distant future be able to find a new space where we can once again host countless events that celebrate the magic of Lucha Libre with people from all walks of life, all creeds.
