Screen legend Sho Kosugi partners up with wrestling Superstars “The Lucha Brothers” to open his own Ninja-themed Store and Gallery in Los Angeles. 

Los Angeles, CA: Screen icon and legendary Martial Artist SHO KOSUGI has joined forces with AEW wrestling Superstars “The Lucha Brothers” to create his official apparel and merchandise line “SHO KOSUGI’S REPUBLIC OF NINJA”. Official Sho Kosugi apparel, merchandise and collectibles available online through the official web store.

AEW (All Elite Wrestling) superstars and current Ring of Honor World Tag Team Champions the Lucha Brothers, “Penta el Zero Miedo” and “Rey Fenix” created “Republic of Lucha”, the world’s only Lucha Libre-themed store, art gallery and event space in 2021 to critical acclaim. Their wildly successful endeavor has been named “Best Small Business” three years in a row by the LA Times, among many other accolades including coverage by NPR, NBC, the LA Times and PBS. This unique project located centrally in Los Angeles has become a fan-favorite tourist destination and a very successful online retailer. The Brothers, lifelong fans of action cinema, approached Mr Kosugi to propose the idea of collaborating on an exclusive apparel and merchandise line similar to their Republic of Lucha concept, but now centered 100% on Sho Kosugi’s iconic status and image as one of the foremost action stars of the 80’s and the definitive figure that spearheaded the “Ninja Craze” that spawned millions of fans across the globe and continues to this day.

The initial launch of the first wave of Official Sho Kosugi merchandise is set for Tuesday May 23^rd at noon PT at https://republicoflucha.com/pages/republicofninja with online ordering available worldwide. Official merchandise including t-shirts, jackets, stickers and more will reflect on Sho Kosugi’s legendary career including his iconic ninja posters, movies, Martial Arts achievements and new original designs.
